BLOG POWER IS THE NEW DEMOCRASY

There's a new democracy in the world. Not only does this democracy bring freedom to the most oppressed individual at the darkest corner of a ghetto in my broken village at the north of South Africa's province of the rising sun, Mpumalanga, but it also brings an international democracy that ushers in equal opportunity to every person stationed at any awkward corner of the planet. This is the Blog Democracy, a.k.a Bloggocracy. My vote goes out t9o every blogger there, especially within the Rising Voices group because of the mission behind each and every member's burning desire to help their communities and those of others, who share similar passion. Indeed, there is no greater freedom than the freedom of free human interaction, where everybody shares their life ideas and stories without any person imposing their authority on them. This is more like a paradise on the net, what more could we ask for?

As the founder of Nazoke Media, which is yet to train rural community-based-groups and individuals about blogging and networking through the Internet, I would like to express my utmost appreciation for being included in Rising Voices group. Thanx David, please continue to spread this gospel, it appears to be what the world needs now. We are all human, with our faults, it's given. But I believe through this group and all sub-projects, we will be learning from each other. I have already bagged a few lessons under my wing. This Bloggocracy has the potential, not only to influence change in the world, but to initiate it and implement it. As a journalist and motivational speaker living in South Africa, I believe that it is through the least effort that the greatest positive change is achieved in the world. My country serves as an example. A mere 13 years ago it was at the brink of an irreparable civil war between classes and races, but today we are picking up the pieces, putting them together through interactive communication. Although we still have a long way to go, we are on our way. I believe the same spirit can be shared amongst us bloggocrats. The future of the futureless lies in our continued contribution to the meaningfulness of our projects to the change that we desire to see in our world. Asking for others to lend a helping hand can always do us good as I have learnt when submitting my proposal to the panel. There is always something to know above what we already know. So never be afraid to seek for assistance, whatever form, in realising the dreams you have for your community. To see the power of effort you can visit an art community on the net, to which I am a friend and contributor. This is one blog from which I have learned some of my skills, which will play a pivotal role in making Nazoke Media grow beyond bounds. Nazoke is a Zulu word that means “There It Is.” It is a word that demands responsibility and action. “There it is, what will you do now?” Then I believe that through it my community will take up the challenge to be part-takers in changing the world through their original stories, which are rich in cultural fibre and aesthetics. You can visit me and my friends on Kasiekulture, thank you very much, I must now return to writing the stories of my people. You can also look our stories up on news24. Anything by African Eye News Service is part of my desire to change the world and tell truth to power. Hola 7
