Another poem

Talking to forever

If only forever

Could grant me a swim in its river

And let me borrow from your heavenly presence

Even a minute's splashy dance

I would assure forever's keeper

From the river that goes deeper and deeper

That I the minute would spend as if a last dime

Showering your heart with the pleasures of all time

If only forever

On this broken promise could deliver

Perhaps hear my prayer and show a sign

Then you would be mine

By imperfect plea and perfect design

For as long as the rays of forever shall shine

And forever, I yours

And we, forever, loving like rebels without cause
