Holy, Holy Niggaz

As a leader of the Holy Niggaz, I have come to the understanding that rappers and poets are nothing but comrades in the struggle of emotions. They are using their songs and poems as slogans to address the ghosts haunting their emotional house. By using obscene lyrics of a violent and antagonistic nature they voice their fears, the hurts and pains that they experience in the “God-forsaken” world they live in. Through these seemingly immature writings, they are actually crying for help – for God to save them. Tupac said, “We need help coz we dyin'/ give us a chance, help us advance coz we tryin'” They don't give a fuck about us.

Therefore, I feel deep down in my gut, that we as preachers have a duty to bring these niggaz close to God because they are desperately looking for him. When they rap about raping your daughter or hijacking your wife, you need to start listening to the pain. Coz in reality most of these rappers perform their crimes lyrically, they replace gun violence through lyrical violence while other niggaz don't rap about it, they do it to you. So, these MC's are a voice to the pain of their own niggaz, who like them don't possess an ounce of hope. We need to put a microscope on the pain of these niggaz before it's too late. Tupac tried his best to keep it lyrical but courted gangsters, an action that led to his death. A microscope on the emotional struggles of these comrade niggaz is needed, for the betterment of our society and for the prosperity of everyone. Niggaz need love and recognition, which now they are only getting through the mechanisms of violence and controversy. Let's first give them a platform for them to voice their problems, let's give them an ear, then a solution. How are niggaz gonn listen to the preacher if the preacher ain't listening to them. When Jesus was about to raise Lazurus from death he said, “Father, I know you have already heard me, but I am now just praying so that these people in front of me can understand and believe.” Sometimes you just need to rap a verse of pain to make the niggaz listen to you. Listen to them, don't judge them. “Thou shalt not judge,” so reads the bible.

As a way forward, I am dedicating my life to bringing niggaz to Christ. I will use hip hop music to bring them closer to God. I will share in their pain, by rapping with them about their pain, and I will call 'em to the altar. That's the same reason I've started my church, Capitalist Niggaz of Christ Holy Church. It is in this church that niggaz will come for hip hop and gain Christ instead. They will come for the heavy beats, but they will find God. You can't expect a nigga to stop saying fuck and start praising God. Expect a nigga to start praising God and he will end up not saying fuck because the pain will be gone when he practises the word of God. All pain comes from not practising the word of God and through practising the word of God all pain will leave. The church has already started in Dwarsloop, at 1335 Studios, it goes down every Sunday. I believe that God got love for them niggaz, and it's time that them niggaz develop love for God.

God bless them niggaz.
